Dr Wu Dong Qing

Managing Director & CEO, Chemilink Technologies Group

Topic Synopsis

Our tropical region could be one of most difficult areas in building pavements, such as airfield runways, seaport container yards, highways and various roads and loading yards. This is mainly due to weak foundations and rich rainfalls. Poor technical performances and short durability with frequent maintenances of the pavement make people’s lives hard and these slow down the local economic and social developments. For the past 20 years, especially in South East Asia, Chemilink technologies, products and application methodologies have built numerous durable pavements with a green approach. This approach involves maximising usage of in-situ soils/materials and some solid wastes, and minimising CO2 emission from construction activities. Through Chemilink’s iconic project case studies, the durable Chemilink-Made pavements have been proven to be effective with faster construction, higher technical performances and overall cost effectiveness. The Chemilink brand is naturally linked with effective and durable pavement solutions by the customers, especially when they face difficulties in constructing infrastructures, so that their lives become much easier.
