Danny Lien will share his branding journey in gearing Amos International to compete in the global arena. He will also share how his “SPARK” initiatives enabled Amos International to win over customers in this extremely competitive environment.

Biography

Mr. Danny Lien is one of the founders of Amos International in 2004 and has been its Managing Director since then. He has spent close to 30 years in the marine industry. Having learnt the ropes of the trade from his father who was in the same industry, he continued his career in the marine industry as an entrepreneur, starting numerous successful joint ventures. Under Danny’s leadership, Amos International quickly established itself as a major player in the industry, winning several awards like Minister for Defense Award in 2008, Fastest Growing 50 Companies in 2009 and Singapore Promising Brands 2010. The company was also awarded the Singapore Quality Class in 2010.

With his wealth of experience in the marine procurement and logistics management business, Mr. Lien leads a team of highly innovative and motivated Executives to take Amos International to the next lap of growth. He holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Miami, Florida, and a Masters of Business Administration from the University of Chicago’s Booth School of Business. Danny is also a winner of the Rotary-ASME Entrepreneur of the Year Award 2009 and an honoree of the Spirit of Enterprise Award 2010.
