Biography

Ashok Charan has over 25 years of experience in general management, marketing, corporate planning, business development and market research. Ashok joined the NUS Business School, Marketing Department in July 2009 after working at Nielsen for 15 years. He currently teaches Business to Business Marketing and Applied Market Research.

At Nielsen, Ashok assumed a number of roles including Managing Director for Singapore and Regional Area Client Director – Asia Pacific. Prior to Nielsen, Ashok worked at Hindustan Lever, India in Business Research.

Ashok is a graduate in Mechanical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi and a post-graduate in Business Management from the Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta.
