Biography

Su-Yen Wong brings over seventeen years’ experience helping companies develop business and organization strategies, improve operations, manage risk, and effectively implement change.



Previously she was a Director at Mercer Management Consulting where she worked with leading companies across North America and Asia in the high-tech, financial services, oil and gas, retail, and consumer goods industries. She has advised clients across Asia since 1995, and has previously been based in Boston, Bangkok, Seoul, and Hong Kong.



Su-Yen is a frequent speaker at conferences in Asia, including events organized by the Economist and Business Week. She is co-author of the Asian edition of How Digital is Your Business? (Crown Business, 2000). She has published articles and is often quoted in journals including the Economist, Wall Street Journal, The Straits Times and Business Times.



She is a regular commentator on news media such as CNBC and Bloomberg. In addition, she is a regular guest speaker at executive education programs at the National University of Singapore, Singapore Management University, and INSEAD.



Su-Yen has also held product management responsibilities at Microsoft Corporation, and at Hallmark Cards. She also served as head of marketing for a technology solutions provider in the US. She holds a B.A. (summa cum laude) in music and computer science from Linfield College and an M.B.A. from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
