Biography

Tessa Lam is the chief information officer and co-founder of Singapore-based online intellectual assets manager IP Mirror. Founded in 2000, the company is the first domain name registrar in Singapore to be accredited with ISO 9001 certification in 2005, the guarantee of service standard quality. Since then, IP Mirror has become an accredited registrar of more than 80 top level domains. IP Mirror’s expertise in this arena is given credence by its membership in the International Trademark Association (INTA), Asia Pacific Top Level Domain Association (APTLD) and Asia Pacific Network Information Centre (APNIC).

With 192 million domain names registered and growing, IP Mirror has taken upon itself to value-add to its services and compete with fellow domain name registrars worldwide. IP Mirror counts big names such as BreadTalk, OCBC, StarHub and AOL as some of their clients and it has offices in Germany, Korea, Taiwan, China and Japan.

Apart from offering protection services, the company also investigates activity surrounding a client’s domain name and spots opportunities for the company to increase its online presence.
