Biography

Mr Inderjit Singh has been a Member of Parliament for Ang Mo Kio GRC since 1996 and is the Deputy Chairman of the Action Community for Entrepreneurship, a movement that aims to foster a more creative and entrepreneurial environment in Singapore.

Mr Inderjit Singh is a serial entrepreneur and he is one of Singapore’s foremost champions of entrepreneurship, having started several companies including the United Test and Assembly Center, Tri Star Electronics Pte Ltd, Infiniti Solutions Pte Ltd and Solstar International Pte Ltd. Currently, Mr. Inderjit Singh is actively managing and is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Infiniti Solutions Pte Ltd, a global semiconductor manufacturing services company and Solstar International, an electronics product company actively selling in emerging markets like Africa where is the Managing Director.

Prior to this, he had a successful career with Texas Instruments Singapore spanning 13 years where he rose through the ranks from a Product Engineer to the Director of Operations for its worldwide assembly and test operations for the Memory Division. Mr Inderjit Singh is currently the board member of the Nanyang Technological University where he also chairs the Enterprise Committee and is the Deputy Government Whip in the Singapore Parliament.

Mr. Inderjit Singh received his Bachelor of Engineering (Electrical and Electronics) in 1985, from NUS(NTI) and an MBA from the University of Strathclyde, UK in 1991.
